Miss Emma’s News
Welcome to this terms newsletter, we are really looking forward to this term as we fill the studios with lots of festive cheer. We like to start the festive season early spreading happiness with our Christmas Recitals wc/ 9th Dec – 14th Dec. During this week students families and friends (max 3 per student) will be welcomed into the studios part way through normal class times to watch the students festive routines and performance. We hope you will be able to join us!
Our new terms focus for November – January is to have ‘The Freedom To Be Unique’ empowering all of our students to love themselves exactly as they are and build their inner confidence.
Highlights for the previous and current term so far once again have been many.
From the studios turning 3 Years Old to the students having a great time at the Billy Elliot workshop (picture below) with the original Billy – James Lomas who was a wonderful inspiration to everyone.
A huge congratulations to Lily-May Brickhill and Lauren Higgins on being cast as leading roles in a local production of one of our favourite musicals ‘Hairspray’ you are both going to wow the audience and we can wait to watch.
We have some very exciting opportunities coming up over the next couple of terms and our events programme is constantly being updated to our website with annual dates for you to see what we have planned.- you can click the link below to view the calendar or save to your own calendar.
A selection of opportunities arriving in a few weeks time:
1st Dec – Commercial Workshop with Vicky Jenkins £10pp
25th Jan – Showcase Your Talent Night 2020
Entries being accepted from 25th November
I look forward to seeing lots of students at these events.
We have recently sent out information for ‘SAVE THE DATE’ for our annual Summer Productions. The email contains details on the separate Prep School Show and the Junior and Senior School Show. We will require all confirmations for ‘THE GREATEST SHOWCASE’ with the Show deposit of £15 to be returned by 9th Dec 2019 please to secure your place in the show. Our annuals shows are the most amazing events to be involved in and something we like all students be apart of – after all what is SHOWcase without a SHOW!
We are also asking any parents about chaperoning – if you would like to be a part of this very vital role and take in all the special moments backstage with your child please speak to Miss Katie or email [email protected] to be a part of the SHOWMAKERS family!
Final thought – if you are wanting to place any uniform or boutique orders in time for Christmas please note the cut off date for all uniforms and merchandise will be the 10th Dec. For all orders please see a member of the team in the boutique.
As always thank you for your continued support.
