Miss Emma’s News
Welcome to this terms newsletter, we have had such a wonderful first term back in 2019 – I can hardly believe that we are already in February.
Coming back in this year has been such a great time as we welcomed lots of new family members, and rejoined with our students who have come back to class with lots of passion and energy. This term was all about coming back after the Christmas break and having Fun and we have definitely done this – finishing with our valentines disco last week was lovely.
Other highlights have been launching our first Holiday Elite Dancers Intensive workshop (picture above), as well as the launch of our Singers Showcase – everyone who took part did us very proud and we cant wait to see these projects continue to develop.
We have some very exciting opportunities coming up over the next couple of terms and our events programme has now been released and added to our website for you to see what we have planned for this year – you can click the link below to view.
This spring terms focus return back to our performing arts / dance technique and performance style as we all prepare for our solo / class exams. We will all be working towards our internal class exams which will take place WC 29th April and all students will receive their medals, certificates and progress report cards in May for taking part. These internal exams also prepare those students who wish to take part in our external exams through our governing bodies such as Acrobatic Arts, IDTA (Street / Musical Theatre / Freestyle), ISTD (Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary), and ICMA (Singing, Speech and Drama) for their different class styles. These external class exams are not mandatory but we do encourage students to take part if they wish to develop their style and performing arts pathway further – these exams also support further education gaining UCAS points and are all OFQUAL registered.
I hope you enjoy reading about our news and up and coming opportunities and i look forward to seeing you in the studios or in class very soon.
Best Wishes
Miss Emma – Principal & Founder
